Our team at TYB Design understands how important it is for customers to have the freedom and flexibility to obtain a product that is tailored to their needs. With this remote design, customers can pick and choose the specific modules necessary for their line of work.
MODULE ASSEMBLY
With the use of individual modules, the manufacturers can speed up production. They will be able to constantly create and assemble a variety of modules that are prepared for final assembly according to the customer's specifications. This allows a much more efficient manufacturing process, less downtime, lower cost, and ultimately fewer molds.
DETAILS AND FEATURES
How this remote would be used by the consumer was extremely important to me when designing this remote. Due to the nature of the industrial applications that this remote will experience, it was designed with weather, gloves, and impact at the forefront of thought. Even in wet and cold conditions, the textured rubber grip and overall formfactor of the remote lends itself to great purchase in the hand. The buttons are also nice and large for those wearing gloves, but still recessed below the bumpers to prevent any unwanted button pressing.
IP-67 WATERPROOFING
In addition to the grip and usability of the device, the whole remote was created to be fully IP-67 Water and Dust Resistant. Every module and connection point is secured with rubber gaskets to ensure that water and dust will stay out, even under rough use. The unique two pronged approach to the gasket system also will help in lowering cost and simplifying injection molds.
